This area contains SEDT, a superset of EDT, including a translated
Alpha image for Alpha VMS. The main documentation is present in
SEDT.DOC and other places.
 
   Basically SEDT uses the EDT keypad but is faster than EDT, will
size its' edit area to the screen space available, and adds a variety
of useful things that EDT lacks. It also won't reset your scrolling
region when it exits as EDT does. SEDT was written by Anker BergSonne
and you should read his documentation for conditions. The complete
distribution is present for VAX, and I find it works well on Alpha.
