At first they tried something along the lines of $ stop CLUE$STARTUP_NJDEV2.LOG but nothing happened, so they inserted a bunch of 0's, five probably $ stop CLUE$STARTUP_NJDEV200000.LOG and WHAM, BUGCHECK We then wondered if it was perhaps our ES40, but alas no, the same STOP longfilename, also bugchecked a 4100. Bottom line, havn't worked out the exact proc name length OpenVMS is barfing on, but in the region of the high 20's All machines are running V7.2-1 Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
