See http://www.intraserver.com/products/6000series.html. These are the folks that make the controllers DEC is using (as well as others). Be sure to get the DEC flavor if you order from Intraserver (even though it costs more) as Intraserver says that only the DEC flavor will work on VMS boxes. Of course, each new SCSI standard (or proto-standard) introduces new, incompatible, smaller, and more expensive SCSI connectors. This weeks flavor is .8mm VHDCI. I use the folks at CS Electronics for all my SCSI cables. See: http://www.scsi-cables.com/line/wdexscsi.htm. They'll make up anything you ask for - last week I ordered a bunch of VHDCI to 50-pin Centronics cables! > Related question, I used to be able to get into Digital's E-Store > or whatever they called it, and search for various types of hardware > and software, including prices. Is there something similar at the > web site? No, unfortunately it's become useless. www.businesslink.digital.com only has pricing, and I'm told it's hard to get an account because they claim it's being replaced "any day now" (they've been saying this for a year or so). And the main www.digital.com site keeps getting rearranged, apparently to try to make stuff even harder to find. What makes this even more annoying is that the old Electronic Connection is still at orders.sales.digital.com - telnet there and check for yourself. It's even been updated to say Compaq Computer Corporation (the Compaq sale happened long after this service allegedly shut down). Unfortunately, it doesn't accept my old account (nor anyone else's that tried it). Terry Kennedy http://www.tmk.com terry@tmk.com Jersey City, NJ USA
