Thanks to all those who offered help with this one, and for others who
may encounter this in the future, the solution is:

(For InfoServer Version 3.2 and above)

Connect a VT or emulator to MMJ port 1 on the Infoserver 150,
set to 9600, 8N1, switch on, wait for POST to complete, then
hit the reset button and do:

>>> B/D0000001

Login with password of 'ESS'

InfoServer>restore
%ESS-I-DEFAULT, Defaulting ......
InfoServer>Set server password
    ... Choose a password and WRITE IT DOWN THIS TIME!!
Infoserver>Save

Now reboot and carry on....
