[Click Here] Drawing Conclusions (And Coming Up With The Wrong Picture) When dealing with evidence of scenarios, circumstances, and similarities, it's often very easy to misinterpret what you're actually looking at, and how one thing can relate to another. This is true not only for the "digital profiler", but for the "physical" one as well. The MAIN thing that you have to CONSTANTLY have in mind is MOTIVE. Why, Why, Why, Why! Once you can establish that, everything else will fall into place. Reversly, if you misinterpret the motive, everything else will lead you to false conclusions. Also, trying to apply the rules of "physical threat assessment" to "digital threats" can lead to false conclusions. In the next chapter I'm going to give you one famous example of what happens when the rules of threat assessment are applied incorrectly, and when motive is misinterpreted.
