The two problems were: 1. lstat was undefined. 2. it would checkout a couple of hundred files OK but then fail. Both of these I fixed and I submitted patches for them both. This patches are available from http://www.cyclic.com/cvs/dev-port.html (look in the VMS section for my name). I'm not aware of Richard's patches. Unless they were already in the 1.10 code that I downloaded, then I didn't have them. Colin.
