It mostly supports the Lisp described in "Common LISP: The Language (2nd edition)" and the ANSI Common Lisp standard. It runs on microcomputers (DOS, OS/2, Windows NT, Windows 95, Amiga 500-4000, Acorn RISC PC) as well as on Unix workstations (Linux, SVR4, Sun4, DEC Alpha OSF, HP-UX, NeXTstep, SGI, AIX, Sun3 and others) and needs only 2 MB of RAM. It is free software and may be distributed under the terms of GNU GPL. The user interface comes in German, English, French and Spanish. CLISP includes an interpreter, a compiler, a large subset of CLOS, a foreign language interface and a socket interface. An X11 interface is available through CLX and Garnet. Changes: Unicode support. Interface to PostgreSQL. Implements the Gray proposal for user-defined streams. Better ANSI CL compliance. urls Download: ftp://ftp2.cons.org/pub/lisp/clisp/ (57 hits) Alternate ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/devel/lang/lisp/clisp-1999.07.22.src.tar.gz Download: (17 hits) Red Hat Packages: ftp://cellar.goems.com/pub/clisp/ (25 hits) Homepage: http://clisp.cons.org/ (106 hits) Changelog: http://clisp.cons.org/~haible/packages-clisp-NEWS.txt (3 hits) Appindex Record: http://freshmeat.net/appindex/1998/10/16/908574310.html information Author: Bruno Haible Co-Author: Sam Steingold License: GPL Category: Development/Languages [ << (GtkShadow 0.1) | add comment | (GNU Pth 1.0.3) >> ] ----------------------------------------------------- No comments copyright © 1999 scoop@freshmeat.net icons courtesy of tigert@gimp.org code revision 19990725
