             FreeDOS for Bochs


Home         You can now download a disk image with a pre-installed copy
             of FreeDOS, a completely free DOS-like operating system. For

MacBochs
             This is a 3.6 MB download which decompresses to a 112 MB hard
Download     disk image. The image is compressed using gzip, which is
             available for most platforms.
Install
             Mac users: if you have the enhanced edition of Stuffit
Screen       Expander, simply drop the file onto the Expander icon to
Shots        decompress. Otherwise, you can download MacGzip from here (or
             your local Info-Mac or UMich mirror).
Operating
Systems      To boot this disk image, put the image in the same directory
             as Bochs and change the diskc: line of your bochsrc file to
             read:

             diskc: file=freedos.img, cyl=900, heads=15, spt=17

             (Also make sure the boot: line is set to "c")

             Download the FreeDOS hard disk image
