(Note for those who follow, there were two small bugs in the current distribution 1. [source.vms]setup.com Convert all ucx_emu to __ucx_emu (fixes bug in UCX emulation choice) 2. [source]system.c the identifier "vms_waitpid" is implicitly declared as a function. Fix by adding this line to vms2.h: pid_t vms_waitpid(pid_t pid, int *stat, int options); ) Now I'm staring at the smb.conf file trying to figure out what to put in a few places. printing = bsd printcap name = /sys$manager/ucx$printcap.dat There's nothing like a printcap in Multinet. Suggestions? In the meantime, I set load printers = no which will hopefull block printers out. guest account = PCFS$ACCOUNT what privs (or nonprivs) should the guest have? What setting blocks guest accounts most cleanly? (I only want people with real accounts to use this.) Other Samba suggestions? Thanks, David Mathog mathog@seqaxp.bio.caltech.edu Manager, sequence analysis facility, biology division, Caltech ************************************************************************** * Affordable VMS?
