VMS (and Digital UNIX) try to put the KB into scanset mode 3, and the PC wants it in mode 2. Try hacking DECW$DEVICE.COM and forcing it to load SYS$IKCDRIVER instead of SYS$IKBDRIVER. IKC was written for the AlphaBook 1 which has a KB controller that was not capable of running in scanset 3 mode (and lied about it). This "may" work... or at least may work better than what you have. -- Frederick G.
