There is one bug that'll bite you with Vax C, so before you build do this (snipped from the install FAQ at http://www.sidhe.org/vmsperl/installfaq.html): Edit [.vms]VMS.C (Not the VMS.C at the top of the Perl source tree, but the VMS.C in the VMS subdirectory).
