The binaries were compiled on VMS 6.2 on VAX and VMS 7.1 on ALpha. The crypto library was one that Christer compiled, probably in some haste. I'm working on SSLeay 0.8.1 to make it easier to handle on VMS (it's not very easy all the time today...). > plus: > > %LINK-W-NUDFSYMS, 2 undefined symbols: > %LINK-I-UDFSYM, DECC$$GA___CTYPET > %LINK-I-UDFSYM, DECC$$GL___CTYPEA > %LINK-W-USEUNDEF, undefined symbol DECC$$GL___CTYPEA referenced %CC-I-PYCHOSIS, standard DECC insanity... You're using a newer version of DECC on V6.1. Although the CTYPE file should be properly coded to avoid this, try CC/DEFINE =(__VMS_VER=0). True, except for one thing: It's __CRTL_VER that should be redefined. Also, although I haven't looked at "FISH", it may be that the .OLB file was shipped with and built on a later version of VMS. Exactly. The thing to do is to do a local recompilation when this happens. -- NEWBIE! read and heed the Guidelines on Posting: http://www.lp.se/~levitte/docs/post_hlp.html --- R Levitte, Levitte Programming; Spannv. 38, I; S-168 35 Bromma; SWEDEN Tel: +46-8-26 52 47; Cel: +46-708-20 09 64; No fax right now PGP key fingerprint = A6 96 C0 34 3A 96 AA 6C B0 D5 9A DF D2 E9 9C 65 Check http://richard.levitte.org/ for my public key. bastard@bofh.se "price, performance, quality.
