This directory contains the complete CMU-OpenVMS/IP package placed into the public domain. Note, this is not an OFFICIAL source of CMU; merely a mirror for the official sites. It may not be the most up to date!

CMU-IP BASE KIT (INSTALLATION REQUIRED)

CMUIP066.A | CMUIP066.B | CMUIP066.C | CMUIP066.D | Master: cvobku.cvo.mp.usbr.gov
The basic CMU TCP/IP package, version 6.6-5. This requires VMS 5.4 or above. Please install this kit before anything else.

Notes:

This version does NOT support NFS.
There is no version for Alpha processors.

PATCHES AND UPDATES (INSTALLATION STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)

These kits provide various patches and updates to the main kit and should be installed on top of the base kit.

Kernel fixes
- TEKIP0665A.SAVE. Master: cvobku.cvo.mp.usbr.gov
  Replacement modules to update 6.6-5 to 6.6-5A, Fixes many bugs and is recommended. Includes NAMRES 2.5E and WHOIS client.
- IPACP.EXE Master: cvobku.cvo.mp.usbr.gov
  IPACP.EXE for VMS 6.1.
- V6DRIVER.SAVE Master: cvobku.cvo.mp.usbr.gov
  IP,TW and PN drivers linked for VMS 6.x.
FTP Fixes
- FTP0214.A Master: cvobku.cvo.mp.usbr.gov
  Replacment modules to bring FTP up to 2.14.
TELNET fixes
- TELNETU1050.A Master: cvobku.cvo.mp.usbr.gov
  Replacement modules to bring TELNET up to version 3.0.
