Good day, 

I would like to announce the availability of the first alpha 
release of the port of the wxWindows C++ class library 
to the GIMP ToolKit, in short 

                  wxGTK v0.2 

wxWindows is a cross-platform C++ GUI library under- 
going a total rewrite. The new version (2.0) will support 
Windows, Motif and the GTK. There are currently alphas 
available for Windows and the GTK. 

wxWindows is arguably the most complete, free GUI 
library available, providing classes for windows, drawing, 
printing, help, document-view architecture, sockets, 
data structures etc. 

The Windows and Motif ports of wxWindows will be 
under a modified (less restrictive) version of the L-GPL. 

The GTK port of wxWindows will be under the L-GPL.
