NT 5.0, the Final FrontierBackupApart from programming themselves, the guys and girls at Remond sometimes fancy just buying some piece of software from another manufacturer to save time. One of the most notorious "bought-in" programs is the backup applet delivered with both Windows 95 and current versions of NT. They're crap. But rejoice! Billy boy has seen the light and has done some sensible purchasing this time. Windows 98 will get a trimmed down version of Seagate Backup Exec 2.0 for Windows 95, NT 5.0 will get Seagate's backup program for NT. No, sadly not the full Backup Exec 6.11 (Bill was out of money I suppose), but a complete look-alike of the version that will be inWindows 98. Here are the new features of the program. |
