What used to happen (I think) is someone named Bill used to have his machine docked at work. When he would undock it and take it home and dock it at home on a slightly different system, he would get annoying prompts to install drivers. Bill asked that these prompts discontinue. They did. You can delete them from the registry using regedt32, but you must first click on Security - Permissions and give Administrators Full Control. Then the subkey can be deleted. -Paul Jeffrey Huckins wrote in message <349A3603.3227@mail.intel.com>... >It seems that when using the IsaPnp ISA PnP enabler driver, if you ever >actually allow a discovered device to go through installation, the >enumeration for the device will continue to exist in the >HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\ISAPNP tree after removing the >device.
