The version of Tcl that ships with the Internet Roadmap contains a winreg command which allows you to both look at the registry and manipulate entries. Tcl is available for both Intel and Alpha and will run under DOS-emulation. You may want to build a version that is strictly DOS. Tcl comes with sources. Danny
