It works. At any rate on an old DECserver 200 MC, with a permanent LAT port created, and logical KER$COMM (or a similar logical - cf. the Kermit docs., so you don't have to 'set line'.) We've got it set up so as to be able to dial in _or_ out, and transfer files both ways using fairly automated Kermit scripts, so I know it can be done.
