*_WASD VMS Hypertext Services Package_*

WASD is an HTTP server for VMS with many add-ins.

the Technical Overview <http://wasd.vsm.com.au/ht_root/doc/htd/>) *

*Like to establish the integrity of your package?*
Check it's MD5 digest <http://wasd.vsm.com.au/wasd/md5digest.txt>
against that in this list <http://wasd.vsm.com.au/wasd/$$$_md5digest.lis>.
WASD has it's own MD5 digestor but here
<http://wasd.vsm.com.au/wasd/md5digest.zip> is a stand-alone one if
required.

*Perl Persistent Scripting.*
This component used to be provided with the basic package. To remove any
dependencies on package releases and to provide it in the same manner as
for the PHP environment, etc., it has now been unbundled. Version 1.2.n
has been significantly reworked in a number of areas. See

*PHP Persistent Scripting.*
PHP is an almost universally deployed, powerful, cross-platform,
HTML-embedded scripting language (http://www.php.net/). This is an Alpha
(AXP) only PHP interface for WASD. It can use the _CSWS PHP v1.1 -
requires an HP patch kit
<http://wasd.vsm.com.au/cgi-bin/yahmail/info-WASD-2003/WASD_2003/61>_
(or T1.0) engine, which must be obtained separately. See the READMEs in
http://wasd.vsm.com.au/ht_root/src/php/ for further information.

*Apache Tomcat Persistent Interface.*
An interface between WASD and the CSWS Tomcat package allowing WASD to
support JSP and servlets, etc. This is _not a production or even BETA
test_ package. It's a basic framework that requires refinement from
someone with knowlege of Tomcat/Jakarta/JSP etc., etc. Can you help?
(BTW: it does work, I've initiated servlets from WASD!) The sources can
be browsed at http://wasd.vsm.com.au/ht_root/src/ajpv12/
