In this directory you will find the PL/I compiler kit which includes the runtime library. This kit also respects OPENVMS-HOBBYIST license paks and it consists of four save sets dpli043.[A-D] Also as a separate package the PL/I runtime library Version 4.2 compatible with version 4.3 of the compiler is include as a save set plirtl042.a. Both kits may be installed by running @sys$upate:vmsinstal and responding appropriately to the questions posed. These savesets are in the .ZIP files with the obvious names. These are: DPLI043H.ZIP (which includes the Runtime Library) DPLIRTL042H.ZIP (Runtime only) and once transferred and unzipped shouldn't require any special handling to readjust the block size. You should transfer these two files unless you are unable to UNZIP them. Transfer time on a T1 line is about 15 and 7 seconds, resp. If you are downloading this using a Windows platform you will need to download reset_backup_saveset_attributes.com and run it on the sets that you have downloaded in order to restore the proper block size. A PL/I compiler license is sufficient to install the runtime library, if that is all you are interested in. If you don't have such a license a separate one maybe obtained by contacting Kednos.
