Marten has done the major porting job and runtime testing on VAX
architecture, Peter has done the Alpha compiling and basic testing


This port has been successfully compiled and tested on the following HW/SW:
DIGITAL TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS VAX Version V4.2
  on a MicroVAX 3100-85 running OpenVMS V6.2   
DEC C V5.7-004 on OpenVMS VAX V6.2

 DIGITAL TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V5.0
  on a DEC 3000 - M300LX running OpenVMS V7.2   
DEC C V6.0-001 on OpenVMS Alpha V7.2
