From: Martin Vorlaender [martin.vorlaender@pdv-systeme.de] Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 5:18 AM To: Info-VAX@Mvb.Saic.Com Subject: Announcing ht://Dig 3.1.6 Release1 for OpenVMS After the zlib buffer overflow bug also hit ht://Dig, it was a logical step to jump to the next stable version on that occasion. Please see http://www.htdig.org/RELEASE.html for extensions and fixes to the original version 3.1.6. ht://Dig for OpenVMS has grown up a bit more in that it now comes as a PCSI kit. There still is a lot to do in the post-installation phase, but we're getting there. The kit is available at (sorry for the wrapping links) http://www.pdv-systeme.de/users/martinv/gnu-axpvms-htdig-v0301-6r1-1.pcsi-zip_axpexe and ftp://ftp.pdv-systeme.de/vms/gnu-axpvms-htdig-v0301-6r1-1.pcsi-zip_axpexe 4099 blocks in size. The sources are in the same directories under the name of htdig-3_1_6-vms-rel1-src.zip (9635 blocks) And for those who attend the German DECUS symposium next week: On Thursday, 14 o'clock, Raum Schumann, I will introduce it. cu, Martin -- One OS to rule them all | Martin Vorlaender | VMS & WNT programmer One OS to find them | work: mv@pdv-systeme.de One OS to bring them all | http://www.pdv-systeme.de/users/martinv/ And in the Darkness bind them.| home: martin@radiogaga.harz.de
