About: phpComic-sql is a script that allows one to place current comic strips on to their Web site. Supported comic strips include User Friendly, Dilbert, Garfield, and many others. This version requires PHP and mySQL. Optional support for PHP- Nuke is also available. Changes: The comic database was updated, the documentation was tweaked, and a Regex parser function was added.
About: KorWeblog is a another version of phpweblog. Many features have been added, such as FAQ, download, sort comments, face icons in comments, user-selectable themes, a user-preferences page, and more. Changes: A bug in the link page and the user customize page was fixed.
About: DaVite is a Web invitation system, much like evite! or Yahoo! invites. You can use it to create a Web invitation that is mailed to all of your guests, who can then read the details, and respond online. Invitations are themeable, and can include user images, so they are completely customizable. Changes: HTML tags are now properly handled in the event name.
About: Bouncer is a network tool which allows you to bypass proxy restrictions and obtain outside connections from an internal LAN. It uses SSL tunneling, which allows you to obtain a constant streaming connection out of a proxy. If you are restricted behind a proxy and can access secure online ordering sites, then you can get out to whatever host on whatever port you want. It also supports a lot of other features including socks 5, basic authentication, access control lists, and Web-based administration, and will run on Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD. Changes: A minor bug that caused a failed connect to send the wrong response back when in Socks 5 mode was fixed.
About: Bastille Linux aims to be the most comprehensive, flexible, and educational Security Hardening Program for Red Hat Linux 6.0-7.2 and Mandrake Linux 6.0-8.1. Virtually every task it performs is optional, providing immense flexibility. It educates the installing admin regarding the topic at hand before asking any question. The interactive nature allows the program to be more thorough when securing, while the educational component produces an admin who is less likely to compromise the increased security. Changes: This is a major update for Red Hat 7.2, but also includes initial HP-UX support. As this is the first development snapshot, please do be careful not to run this on a production system.
About: An object-oriented programming extension to the C language which aims to support programming in the large better than Objective-C, C++, and Java. Changes: The documentation has been improved, including a better introduction to Breve.

About: The ezVerify Suite is a set of tags that allow for server-side data validation to occur as opposed to just using client-side JavaScript or complicated custom programming. The primary goals of this product are to provide a rich set of server-side validation features, and to be compatible with HTML 3.2+ so that authors need only add ezVerify tags to their existing HTML web forms as opposed to rewriting the entire page. It is a set of custom tags that look very much like HTML/XML but provide a host of data validation functionality.
About: Genrd is a bash shell script frontend to Robodoc and Robodoc-DB which greatly simplifies Robodoc's use with multiple files. Robodoc-DB (also included) is a version of Robodoc which has been modified to produce Docbook SGML. It generates source code documentation from almost any language (including PHP, C, HTML, and others), producing a variety of formats, including PDF, HTML, text, and RTF.
About: LimeWire is a multi-platform Gnutella client with nice features like auto-connect, groups, browse host, multiple search, upload throttling, connection quality control, library management and sophisticated filtering. It is built for the both the novice and power user. Changes: Ability to send and receive rich queries for more precise category-specific searching (XML Metadata), an integrated MP3 player with WinAmp-style playlist support, and an ability to add category-specific information to your files.
About: This program has a top like display which shows the different packet types. Possibly useful to determine the nature of packets on a given network and how much bandwidth they are using. Can currently sort by either size or number of packets. Changes: Listing UDP ports, getting listings from the /etc/services and /etc/protocols files, and improved installation scripts.
About: Indexed PDF Creator creates indexed PDF documents from text files. It was designed to aid in creating an electronic distribution method for legacy system reports, since many mainframe type print spools are plain text. It allows indexing, customizing page settings, font size, font face, and superimposing text over an image in the case of using pre-printed forms. It supports unlimited levels of indexing bookmarks in documents and system/user configuration files. Changes: A new -n flag to handle badly-generated reports where \f\n was used instead of \n\f and causes lines to be off by one on every page except the first.
About: WebEvent Publish lets you publicize activities and post scheduling changes in real time. It allows visitors to filter events on the fly, submit events (subject to administrator approval), subscribe to calendars, and receive both reminders, and any changes that are made. Changes: A scalable interface to enable support for over 100,000 users and calendars, a more powerful export function, modified HTML to be more compatible with older browsers, fixes for timezone issues, and easier/more powerful printing.
About: minit is an attempt to cross-breed DJ Bernstein's daemontools and init, while adding dependencies, and maintaining minimal code base. It is possible to start and stop services on the fly. minit does not depend on a mounted /proc file system, and it does not write to any part of the file system, not even to start and stop services. It does not use System V IPC, either. Changes: A fix for a bug that prevented minit from spawning a getty, svc produces usable return codes, a script "listpids" is included that shows how to list all running processes that are managed by minit, and a fix for the mechanism behind pidfilehack.
About: xvattr lets you list what Xv attributes are available and change their values. This can be used to change brightness and so on for programs that use Xv overlays.
About: EasyORM is an XML-driven object-relational mapper that takes a description of your schema and relationships (including dependant objects) and produces PHP classes for accessing that schema. Changes: A fix for a bug in code generation for single-finders (they properly return null if no object was found), a fix for a bug when using queries that take no parameters, a new README and CHANGELOG, and cleanups to the layout by putting templates/runtime in seperate directories and adding a base-dir configuration directive.
About: Mutt is a small but very powerful text-based MIME mail client. It is highly configurable, and is well-suited to the mail power user with advanced features like key bindings, keyboard macros, mail threading, regular expression searches, and a powerful pattern matching language for selecting groups of messages. Changes: A new method of signalling PGP output to the internal pager to make it harder to fake, an option to ignore ANSI color sequences in messages, support for listing any patches that have been applied, threading optimizations, and enhanced handler for format=flowed messages, and several bugfixes.
About: cvsadmin is a handy tool to administer users of a CVS repository. It handles adding, deleting, renaming users, changing passwords, etc. gcvsadmin is a GTK interface to it that handles multiple repository handling. You can also use the backend for other applications. Changes: Creation of the passwd file if it doesn't already exist, fixes for some minor memory leaks, and reformatting the code to match style(9).
About: Utopia Calculator is a GTK application which contains a formatter and calculator that can determine the odds of success for any given attack in the online game Utopia. Changes: A fix for a little formattor bug, and a few other minor enhancements.
About: DeepManager aims to be a package dependency manager, helping you to better understand the relations between a set of packages. It has two main operations modes: "dot" builds a graph showing selected relations to be viewed with graphviz, and "check" verifyies consistency in the given information sources. It supports reading from RPM hdlists or an RPM database.
About: libformat is an adaptation of the mod_format Apache module to do syntax highlighting of source code using HTML font tags and cascading style sheets. libformat is capable of syntax highlighting C, C++, Java, Verilog, and VHDL source code, and was designed to make the addition of new language capabilities as painless as possible. In addition to the library, a utility which generates complete HTML pages from source files is provided. A Perl interface is also provided, which greatly simplifies the use of the libformat API in CGI scripts.
About: This project is an attempt to provide the Linux community with kernel drivers for two hugely popular DVD playback cards, namely the DXR3 from Creative Labs and the Hollywood Plus from Sigma Designs. Changes: Bugfixes, much better Xine support, and an mplayer patch for current CVS.
About: Fetchmail is a free, full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand TCP/IP links (such as SLIP or PPP connections). It supports every remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet: POP2, POP3, RPOP, APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, and ESMTP ETRN. It can even support IPv6 and IPSEC. Changes: The bug has been fixed where program_name was not filled in before it was used when the user ID had no PW entry, which would lead to (null) or crash when printing the error message. Signals are blocked during SockConnect() so there is no socket descriptor leak if it is hit by an alarm signal during connect(2). The queryname is set even when the server is inactive, which avoids a core dump bug in the fetchids code. Beside other small fixes, there are changes and fixes concerning qmail.
About: PCX Firewall is an IPTables firewalling solution that uses Perl to generate static shell scripts based upon the user's configuration settings. This allows the firewall to startup quickly, as it does not have to parse config files every time it starts. Changes: A generic /proc interface is now available (this lets you work with any entries under /proc/sys/net/ipv4 instead of just those for which methods were provided). Error checking has been improved in the generated shell scripts. The ability to use ip or ifconfig to determine dynamic IP Addresses has been added. There is now an rc.d/init.d script called iptables.pcx which will call the startfw and stopfw scripts for you.
About: TEDLS is a simple and effective script for displaying a listing of files in a directory in a nice looking and customizable display, which can be embeded into your layout. The script is designed primarily for listing images, and can generate/use thumbnails. However, it can be easily used for listing any files you want. Changes: This release will display the number of files in the current directory and in all subdirectories. There is Windows server support and a couple of small bugfixes too.
