To get past SYSVERDIF messages you need to register the applications with VMS using sys$update:register_privileged_image. This is because the images are linked on older versions on VMS. The new version 7.1, which is soon to be released, requires a minimum of VMS 7.2 and will not have this problem. (DEC DBMS and DEC Rdb are the names for versions prior to 7.0, the current names are Oracle Rdb and Oracle CODASYL DBMS.)
