I'd like to announce the availability of a collection of X11 libraries/applications.
The package contains the sources of
   - Xmu
     (X Miscellaneous Utilities)
   - Xaw3D
A VMS port of Kaleb S. Keithley's enhancement of the X Athena Widget set.
   - GhostView-VMS 2.0
Allows to view postscript files on an X display.
   - XFig 2.1.6
David M. Brooke's VMS port of XFig 2.1.6 allows to draw figures on
     an X display.

The software may be used on OpenVMS VAX and OpenVMS AXP.

GhostView-VMS requires the interpreter GhostScript, which may be obtained
separately from ftp.cs.wisc.edu in pub/ghost.
Apart from this exception the kit is self contained.

The package is currently available via anonymous ftp from:
    site: ada.cenaath.cena.dgac.fr
    dir: [.DECWINDOWS.XAW3D]
and from
    site: ftp2.cnam.fr
    dir: [.DECWINDOWS.XAW3D]

The directories shown above contain the file README.TXT, which should be consulted
to obtain further information on contents and installation of this kit.

    Johannes Plass, January 1995
