Let try once more with feeling...

IO express can fail to release memory back to npp fast enought under
high and increasing io load. No npp -> no system. It hangs solid.
But SCS et al are still alive, so no CLU-EXIT.

If you are very lucky, pull your ethernet cable and drop the SCS
links and it MAY come back...

Over a 12 hr RDB job, IOexpress saved 20-30 min. For the cost you
can get a couple of Gb of fast disk now days.
