This directory tree contains the FREE software of Rush Record.  There are both
binary and source distributions in many distribution formats.  Please send
questions, comments, or problems to sandmann@clio.rice.edu.  This software
is covered by GNU Public License - freely distribute but don't sell it, and
don't use the source in anything you sell.

ED is a significantly enhanced EDT-like editor that runs on about any platform
you can find.  If you just want EDT for your Unix box or PC, or a multi-window
fast editor with powerful features, ED is for you.

V1.5.7 is current, V1.6 is scheduled for release in October, 1994.  I have
recently moved, so it may take up to a week to answer email.
