The NYU-MC BinHex distribution.

The distribution includes the executables for the VAX (VMS V5.5-2) and the 
Alpha (OpenVMS V1.5), and the Ultrix executable as well (BINHEX.)

There are the source files and MAKEFILES for the three operating systems.
Under VMS just execute these: they do not use MMS.

We tested this under Ultrix.  We have no idea whether they will work using
other OSs (e.g. SUN,SGI).  There is a good chance they will however, since 
the original code for 'mcvert' was usable over a wide range of OSs.

This version works with PacerShare for the VAX and CAP for Ultrix.  Adding 
PacerShare for Ultrix is straightforward and will be done once the testing is 
done.  Obviously getting it to work with Pathworks for VMS is a good idea, but 
we have not yet looked at that.

Symbols for VMS can be created using the BINHEX_SYMBOLS.COM file, which 
should be edited, then put into SYS$MANAGER:SYLOGIN.COM, if appropriate.
