Subject: FILESERV@WKUVX1: New PC_DCL (microDCL) - DCL Emulator for DOS

I've just added microDCL, the DCL emulator for MS-DOS by Michel
Valentin that Kevin Barkes has written about a couple of times in _DEC
Professional_. Gee, why does "Michel Valentin" sound like a
pseudonym? 8-) This is a *very* nice DOS shell that acts a lot like
DCL, from qualifiers for DIR to lexical and DCL command procedure
support. If you have to use DOS for any reason, you want this!

I've stored this as package PC_DCL (just to add to the confusion 8-)).
You can get it via anonymous ftp from ftp.spc.edu as:

        [.MACRO32.SAVESETS]PC_DCL.ZIP

VMS file attributes for files in the .ZIP are *not* saved on this
one---it was zipped up under DOS.

You can get via e-mail as 10 60-block VMS_SHARE parts by sending the
following commands in the body of a mail message to
FILESERV@WKUVX1.BITNET:

SEND PC_DCL
SEND FILESERV_TOOLS !Needed if you don't have MFTU and UNZIP

Thanks to Dan Wing, who sent me this file a couple of months ago.
