It is a tool for creating time sheets using an X-Windows display as the source of charging information. The list displayed within the XTS window is a list of timesheet entries. These may represent actual tasks or task classifications, according to your needs. XTS can monitor the current input focus to determine how to charge your time. You select which window is charged to which timesheet entry. When the current input focus changes from one window to another, XTS accumulates the time spent in the previous window and adds it into the entry associated with that window. Requires a DECwindows workstation. ADVANTAGES: Provides window focus monitoring for hands-free operation. Can generate DECplan time charge data. LIMITATIONS: Does not function correctly with Motif pointer focus policy enabled. Not yet ported to OSF/1 or ULTRIX (but could be). OTHER: See also ... Built with the discontinued DEC VUIT product.
