     This package provides you with everything you need to build a Windows

Windows NT 4.0 Volume Manipulation Developers Kit (VMDK)

     With the OSR VMDK you can very easily discover and manipulate the
     clusters that comprise a file on an NTFS or FAT volume. Do not confuse
     this kit with a simple facility that lets you move a cluster of a file
     to an unspecified "contiguous" location! Implemting far more than just
     a couple of clever IOCTLs, the OSR VMDK allows you to specify which
     clusters of a file to move, and which clusters on the volume you want
     them moved to. You thus have control of the resulting volume layout. Of
     course, this kit works on-line, during normal system operation. Cool
     for writing defraggers, volume mappers, and other neat utilities. This
     kit is scheduled for availability during the first quarter of 1997.
