             * INTERNET - compatible

The program CRYPT V1.2 makes it possible to encrypt
ASCII-texts with a password, to send text (which only con-
tains ASCII-characters as well) to the receiver, who is
able to decrypt it with your arranged password.

It can encrypt and decrypt binary files as well (you can,
for example encrypt an ASCII-file as a binary file).

CRYPT V1.2 also provides you with a high security level
     AND a fast coding-rate.
It is impossible to decipher messages that were coded with
CRYPT V1.2 without the right password (s. "Applied Crypto-
graphy" by Bruce Schneier, alternating stop and go-gen.).
If you should use a password which is 6 characters long,
a "hacker" has to try 4,398 E 12 different combinations,
if he wants to try all possible combinations and if he
knows the length of the password. Usually this will not be
the case, therefore you can add some zeros to that big
     number!
CRYPT V1.2 uses a _very_ safe algorithm and even adds two
     others!

The main algorithm is a alternating stop and go - generator (Bruce
Schneier), which has not been "cracked" yet.
