One is called "Visual Mail" and the other is "S-Mail." Of the two, S-Mail is simpler, and Visual Mail is very spiffy, though in need of work to get it to function from my Mac 'n' modem at home (it requires some keyboard keys that my Mac 'n' modem simply don't have). Anyway, awhile ago, Visual Mail was available by anon FTP from: csvax1.ucc.ie in the directory [.VMS] -or- ftp.spc.edu in the directory [.MAILUTILS] Try the Ireland site first -- fewer problems with that one. You might also look by anon FTP at cerritos.edu/black.cerritos.edu/ white.cerritos.edu for the possibility of finding both Visual Mail and also S-Mail -- Cerritos is a vmsnet.sources archive site. There was a fatal flaw in the original Visual Mail program -- you couldn't "quit" if you changed your mind about sending a message. I can send you the program author's fix for that if it isn't included in the anon FTP version above. I haven't heard from the Visual Mail program's author in months, by the way. I think I was too enthusiastic about his work, and I think I offended him. Oh well. Sigh. He really did do a very nice job of craftsmanship with the software. Very nice. The keyboard fixes would be easy to do, but with a program of this size, it would be better for the program's father to look after safety pins like that. Oh well. Sigh.
