The following package has been added to FILESERV@WKUVX1 and FTP.SPC.EDU. This is a *must-have* for all sites! Trust me; you'll want it. o MMK-2-0 Matt Madison has released MMK (Matt's Make Utility). MMK is a "make" utility for VMS systems. It is used for building software systems based on a "description file" (or "makefile") you create that lists the sources and objects of a system and the dependencies between them. MMK provides a subset of the functionality of Digital's DEC/Module Management System (DEC/MMS); the description files MMK uses are syntactically compatible with DEC/MMS. MMK runs on VAX/VMS, OpenVMS VAX, and OpenVMS AXP systems. It requires VAX/VMS V5.0 or later, or OpenVMS AXP V1.0 or later. You can get MMK via anonymous ftp from ftp.spc.edu; you'll need: [.MACRO32]UNZIP.EXE or UNZIP.ALPHA_EXE [.MACRO32.SAVESETS]MMK-2-0.ZIP You can get it via e-mail by sending the following commands in the body of a mail message to FILESERV@WKUVX1.BITNET: SEND MMK-2-0 SEND FILESERV_TOOLS !Needed if you don't have UNZIP and MFTU Thanks, Matt!
