Maybe everyone knows this but I thought it was a "trick" :worth sharing: If you have an NCD/TEK Xterm, log on to the unix box :and start twm after your DIGITAL banner and login box appears (switch to :the telnet window to do this). Then log in to the VAX. You get twm :and DEC session manager together. What is (probably) happening is that DXWM (aka DECW$WINMGR) is starting up and exiting because it detects the presence of twm already running.
