It seems many people aren't aware of the method DEC has provided to recompute
QUORUM if your machine is hung waiting for another CPU to rejoin the VAXcluster:
	^P (or use the halt button)
	>>>D/I 14 C
	>>>C
	IPC>Q
	IPC>^Z

This allows your machine to continue without an annoying reboot.
