...ENTER]000READ.ME
-------------------
ENTER - enter a specific FID as a specified filename

***WARNING***
This utility can cause some strange file system behaviour. Use with care.

This utility may be used to recover a file that has been 'lost' due to
various reasons, such as a user doing a $ SET FILE /REMOVE when he/she
didn't realize the consequences, or a file marked for delete. You *MUST*
know the file ID. If you use the file to recover a TMD (marked for delete)
file, enter the file, copy the data, and remove the file. Generally
$ ANALYZE/DISK will find the file id's for you.

Sample usage is:
  ENTER newfilename.newext;newversion /fid=(10141,12,0)

The filename is optional. In the absence of a filename, one will be provided
for you of the form:
  FILE_ident_seq_rvn.DAT
