We have a locally written program called "PS" that allows you to turn a text file into a postscript document. After you get the postscript document, you print it as you do any other postscript file. PS allows you to specify whichever of the built-in fonts on the LaserWriter you would like to use. If you use RUNOFF, it will convert the underlining and boldfacing that RUNOFF normally does. In order to grab a copy, FTP to HMCVAX.CLAREMONT.EDU, login as ANONYMOUS and CD to [.CSV.PS]. You could easily write a DCL script to do the conversion and issue the print command, but we haven't done that. I don't know if there is a print symbiont available for VMS that will sense whether or not the incoming file is a postscript file, and if not turn it into one. I have seen shell scripts on Un*x that do essentially that though... -- Chris Yoder Internet --- Chris@HMCVAX.Claremont.Edu Harvey Mudd College Bitnet ----- Chris@HMCVAX.Bitnet
