A patch is available if you see your VMS 5.1 system performance degrading due
to lost pages, the symptoms are: After each bootup, performance indicators show
that the system is degrading, incrementally, thus appearing as if the system
is hung.  Evidence shows that the Swapper is consuming 35% or more of the CPU
time.  The patch is #CSCPAT_0056010, from DEC Customer Support.  It replaces
SYS_LOADABLE_IMAGES:PAGE_MANAGEMENT.EXE and WORKING_SET_MANAGEMENT.EXE.  You
must restore the old files prior to an upgrade, so save the old ones!
