ARGHHH.... >Well, I've tried to reset everything back to defaults, but still no success. > >Someone please help me before I go bonkers... > >THANKS!!! - Mark I got bitten by that one also, and it took me a while to figure out what was happening ! All I did was to accidentally depress the CTRL-F3 key combination. This allows your workstation to work WITHOUT a mouse - i.e. the mouse functions can now be emulated by the keyboard : - arrow keys = move the mouse pointer - SELECT = click MB1, - PREV SCREEN = click MB2 - NEXT SCREEN = click MB3 - FIND = press and hold MB1 (to select from a pull-down menu) - INSERT HERE = press and hold MB2 (to select from a pop-up menu) - REMOVE = press and hold MB3 The fact that your keyboard is now in 'mouse emulation' mode is indicated by the WAIT light being turned on. To go back to 'normal' mode, just depress CTRL-F3 again.
