While the concept of a window-based debugger is great, in practice the debugger is slow, in so large a font that it covers the windows you are trying to debug, and FULL of bugs. It was just an inconvenience until I had an image that the debugger stack-dumped when trying to bring up. I couldn't debug it at all. So, the VMS 5.2 release notes says "see the VMS Debugger Manual Supplement, Version 5.2 Field Test". I sure never got this FM. Grrr. So I called Colorado, and asked THEM to look it up. After much looking, they found that it is only documented in the July edition of the manual, whereas any customers who have the manual probably got shipped the MAY version. Now you know, Mark. ______________________________________________________________________________ Mark Porter Internet: maporter@oracle.com RDBMS Kernel Group or: maporter%oracle.com@apple.com Oracle Corporation Phone: (415) 358-3421
