The contact for the DuPont Experimental station in Wilmington, DE is the CSNET Coordination and Information Center CIC@SH.CS.NET. You could also try asking postmaster@dupont.com if your local mailer and name servers support MX records, or postmaster@relay.cs.net if it doesn't. Many sites use "routing addresses" like: user%decnet-node.decnet@routing-host.domain to route mail to DECnet from a host that has a mail gateway to the Internet. You can probably do something like this to reach your friend at DuPont. The technical contact or postmaster should know how, given the information your friend gave to you. INFO-NETS@THINK.COM is the mailbox for posting messages to the list (make sure to ask for a CC: copy of any replies to be sent directly to you if you aren't subscribed to the list). INFO-NETS-REQUEST@THINK.COM is the mailbox for requesting that one be added or deleted from the list, etc. Also, the "whois" utility I used above is handy for finding things out too. If you don't have one, you can TELNET to the NIC (SRI-NIC.ARPA), give the command WHOIS (no need to login), and then follow directions from there. --- In-Real-Life: Jim Harvey, I.U.P.U.I.
