Using AnalytiCalc on Amiga: 1. If, and ONLY if, you reply that your screen is 640 by 400, be SURE your workbench is in INTERLACE mode. Select Interlace in Preferences, SAVE, and then REBOOT, if you do not have an interlace (640 by 400 or larger) workbench screen. AnalytiCalc MUST be run on a system with a workbench screen of 640 by 400 or larger (i.e., using MOREROWS is perfectly OK) or it will fail. If you tell AnalytiCalc at startup (in reply to its question) that your screen is 640 by 200, it will run on a noninterlace screen. All will be well except some help displays may not fit. Note that an 8 pixel font is assumed, so if you have the 60 column mode set, you'll have to adjust several windows and screen sizes. 2. No extra stack should be needed, at least most of the time. 3. AnalytiCalc has been reported to be runnable in a 512K Amiga, but with VERY little room left over. Any extras that occupy memory may make it not fit (e.g., ADDBUFFERS...). Use the noninterlace screen mode to get AnalytiCalc to fit in this size. 4. AnalytiCalc runs OK with the AmigaDos 1.3 console handler. However use with ConMan 1.3 has been a problem. Try using the -d switch of ConMan to get it to work, but you may not be able to use conman with AnalytiCalc. An interaction between ConMan and the Absoft runtime system is to blame. The ConMan 1.3 release 2 software fixes this problem.
