The distribution list won't appear. To send to that alias locally, in VMS mail send to in%"alias@node" to get your message to be handled by PMDF. The lines of the file can be PMDF-legal addresses, including user@node for other local VMS machines. We use this to allow users to have "mail-reflector" lists that they control themselves--we just create the alias pointing to a file in their directory space. Richard A.
