The directory [.SETDEF] contains a SET DEFAULT DIRECTORY
utility program that runs under either VMS V3.x or V4.x.  The
directory [.EDT] contains a version of the EDT editor under VMS
V4.x that allows the user to spawn subprocesses from within the
editor.  The directory [.SEND] contains a program that will send
messages to terminals or users that are currently logged on.
