File: TEX$LOGOS:00README.TXT Al Scholldorf 9-Feb-84 The TEX$LOGOS directory contains LOGO and LETTERHEAD files used to create stationary overlays for the QMS Lasergrafix 1200. ** Other files in this directory: 00README.TXT This file. LOGO.DOC General Info. LOGO.DIC Dictionary of available LOGO's/LETTERHEAD's. LOGO.COM Creates the LOGO file (File extension .LGO). LETTER.COM Creates the LETTERHEAD file (File extension .LHD). MAKE.COM Makes both LOGO and LETTERHEAD files. CLEAN.COM Clean up directory. ** Command Procedure Usage: Look at one of the TEX files in this directory to figure out how to make your own *.TEX file. Usually you can find one which is already fairly close to what you need. Copy the old TEX file into a new file. Name it something reasonable (your department name). Then say: @MAKE your_tex_file It will call up the LOGO.COM and LETTER.COM command procedures to create .LGO and .LHD files for you. Test them by printing a file using /LOGO= and /LETTERHEAD= options on the PRINT command. Then update the LOGO.DIC file so that everyone else can find out about your brand new LOGO !! ** Updating the entire LOGO directory: When changes to the TEX or QTEX software or changes to the Fonts on the LASERgrafix 1200 call for it, you can "recompile" all of the logos in this directory by: @MAKE *
