Functional changes from V1.3 include: * login mode -- login, answer, clear and logout commands * Interactive mode * LocalPub, Encrypted, Change and Unique field attributes * change and delete commands * library routine to allow PMDF to query a local nameserver Most of the utilities have also been changed in one way or another. For instance, qi_make now uses the printf style formatting that Lance and I talked about almost a year ago. Warning: the format of the database files changed in V2.6 to support some of the new functions. Database files from before V2.6 will need to be rebuilt before you can use V2.10. You can get V2.10 qi.zip via gopher.cerritos.edu in the Cerritos Gopher Utilities directory, or via ftp.cerritos.edu in [ANONYMOUS.VMSNET]QI210.ZIP. -Bruce -- Bruce Tanner (310) 860-2451 x 2164 Tanner@Cerritos.edu Cerritos College Norwalk, CA
