C Kermit and MS Kermit

This area contains the most recent C Kermit and MSDOS Kermit versions
(including binaries for VMS on VAX or Alpha and for PC). These are
powerful communications programs which operate over asynchronous or
TCP/IP connections for file transfer. The MS Kermit implementation is also
one of the best VT emulator packages available.

When configured correctly, Kermit achieves very nearly the maximum speed
possible on asynchronous lines, even over satellite links or similar slow
response channels.

Some documentation is furnished here. However, the C Kermit introduction
from Columbia University is the canonical Kermit documentation and must
be bought separately. (It is published by Digital Press.)
