HOW TO CREATE A HOUSEKEEPING PROCEDURE

To create a Houskeeping Procedure that can be run from the SM MHP menu do 
the following:

(I'm using the job called PRO (Purge Read and Outbox) here as an example.)

The job has to be entered into the SM_UTILITY_MASTER with the following 
information:

         SEL  Select                   Master:  SM_UTILITY_MASTER
                                       Record:  PRO
         C    Create
         E    Edit
         D    Delete
         P    Print
         R    Read
         I    Index









         Enter option and press RETURN

Utility Name: PRO
Utility Description: Purge READ and OUTBOXes

Account To Run Utility Under:  MANAGER

Name of Schedule Form: SM_SKEDFORM_DEFAULT
Name of Schedule Script: SM_SKEDSCRIPT_DEFAULT
Name of Utilty Boilerplate Name:  DUMMY

Shutdown Flag:  0    SA Can Schedule Flag:  0    SA Can Display Info:  1

Orphans:1=List,2=Delete: 1   Recovered msgs acnt: MANAGER

The procedure then runs a COM file that then may call a script or 
whatever...
