Alternatively search the NCL script files (in SYS$STARTUP) and edit the ones that contain the device name you need to change. You're probably looking for ROUTING CIRCUITS and CSMA STATIONS. Once you're done I recommend renaming the NCL files (and indeed any other critical files) to ;32767 just to prevent inadvertent changes by someone with a text editor and a careless set of fingers... -- Cheers, Colin. Message-ID: <044101c8c9e6$5f928cc0$2802a8c0@CHARONLAP> This is completely off-topic, but I hope someone here knows the answer.=20 When talking to one of my sisters today I asked about an invitation I = sent her last week to her hotmail.com address. She said that she did not = receive it. One of my other sisters did not respond to the same email and it = turns out that she also uses hotmail.com. Another friend who uses hotmail did = not respond to a recent email as I expected them to. I created my own hotmail account tonight and sent an email to it from my domain more than two hours ago, that email has not yet arrived in my = hotmail account. My outgoing SMTP logs show no errors at all, hotmail accepted = the email fine. I sent an email from hotmail to weaverconsulting.ca and that email arrived within seconds, a reply to that email made it back to my hotmail account. Every time I reply to an email hotmail.com delivers the message with no problems. But if I send an email that is not a reply, even though I cut/pasted the hotmail.com address, the message is not delivered to my hotmail inbox. I even searched through my SMTP log file to make sure the address I am replying to is exactly the same as the address I use when = not doing a reply. The hotmail junk email filter is set to standard, junk email should go = to the junk folder. But nothing appears in the junk folder. I did try = adding weaverconsulting.ca to the hotmail safe sender list, but that did not = help. Does anyone know why hotmail.com is silently dropping emails after = accepting them? (Yes, I did send this question to hotmail, using their 1000 = character limit webpage that actually reject anything over 970 some-odd = characters, but I do not expect any answer from them other than a cut/paste FAQ.) The reason that your email makes it to hotmail once you send from there is that your address is now on the "whitelist". While HP does not charge for the stands, as a vendor there certainly is a significant cost involved. As I happen to live in Nashua, I conveniently forgot about travel and lodging costs. Sorry. > Has the Sheraton improved in anyway at all since I was there before, It now is a Radison. So all must be well. :-). Having immediate access to the some of the people who actually maintain the code is indeed quite a rare experience. Highly recommended. Sue can correct me here if I'm in error - the BootCamp is entirely self supporting, based on what Sue has said in the past. The "tuition" pays the entire cost of the event (halls, meeting rooms, catering, etc.). As I understand it, Sue gets zero budget for the event from HP, but corporate allows the VMS and hardware staff to participate (give sessions, etc.) on company time. I don't happen to know what the minimum attendance level would be for break-even; however, I've yet to see a bootcamp cancelled for lack of interest. David J. Margin is some 8 or 9% (not much better than the ink divisions, IIRC). I think last year theres was a thread here on this topic (" Question for the Group"). ------------------------------ End of INFO-VAX 2008.320 ************************
